REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 2025 NNA Annual Convention!

This year’s event will be held at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney, Nebraska on October 2-3. 

The 2025 Convention theme is “Nurses in Action, Storytelling, Leadership, and Advocacy", and we have some intriguing presentations planned for the event this year.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registration is required for participation in the event. Early-bird registration closes September 12, 2025 at 12:00 pm CST. 

Individuals are allowed to register after September 12th (early bird deadline), but registration fees increase. 

No registrations are accepted after September 22, 2025

* No CE credits will be awarded to those registering at the student rate. If you wish to attend the NNA Awards Dinner or the 40 Under 40 Awards Breakfast, you must purchase tickets to those events.

Refund/Cancellation Policy – Registration fees, less a $50.00 enrollment processing fee, will be refunded to registrants who cannot attend and notify the Nebraska Nurses Association/Midwest MSD office in writing of the cancellation before September 1, 2025. No refunds will be made after September 1, 2025.


Join us for the NNA PAC Fundraiser October 1!
Please join us for the Nebraska Nurses Association Political Action Committee (NNA PAC) Fundraiser scheduled for Wednesday, October 1 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm at Cunningham’s on the Lake, located at 610 Talmadge Street, Suite A in Kearney, Nebraska 68845. Cunningham’s on the Lake is a rustic/modern style restaurant with a lake view patio and within walking distance of the convention venue, offering classic pub grub and craft beers on tap. Fundraiser tickets are $45.00 per person, which includes a light dinner buffet and one drink ticket. A cash bar will also be provided for additional drink purchases. Watch for the option to add a PAC Fundraiser ticket to your convention registration. We hope you can join us!

HOTEL

Sleeping rooms have been blocked for the Nebraska Nurses Association at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Kearney for October 1 and 2 at a rate of $160.00 plus taxes.

Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel at 308-238-7000 identifying yourself with the Nebraska Nurses Association or clicking here to make your room reservation online. Online reservations must be made on or before September 4, 2025

Following the deadline, reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly, if sleeping rooms are available. Please know the daily rate will increase, possibly significantly.


DISCLOSURES

  • Successful Completion – Participants must check-in on both days, participate in a minimum of three educational sessions, submit a verification of attendance form noting the sessions attended, and complete the online evaluation to receive a certificate of completion.
  • Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive up to 9.5 contact hours.
  • Relevant Financial Relationships – No relevant financial relationships were identified for any member of the planning committee or any presenter/author of program content.

ACCREDITATION

VTL Center for Professional Development is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
